Prestonwood Christian will roll into the match after a wild two-game stretch: they didn't score any runs on Friday, then bounced right back against Bishop Lynch on Monday. The Lions put the hurt on the Friars with a sharp 11-1 win. The victory continues a trend for the Lions in their matchups with the Friars: they've now won four in a row.

Meanwhile, Ursuline Academy fell victim to John Paul II and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They came up short against the Cardinals, falling 12-0. The Bears just can't catch a break and have now endured three defeats in a row.

Ursuline Academy saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Anna Breen, who went 1-for-2 with one double.

Prestonwood Christian's win bumped their record up to 7-3. As for Ursuline Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 5-5.

Prestonwood Christian skirted past Ursuline Academy 4-3 in their previous meeting back in March. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Lions since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
