Softball Recap: Waunakee Has No Trouble Against Fort Atkinson

Waunakee had to skate by with only a two-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the ten-run drubbing they dealt Fort Atkinson on Friday. The Warriors never let the Blackhawks get on the board and left with a 10-0 win. That looming 10-0 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Warriors yet this season.

The team relied heavily on Audra Ubersox, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs and one stolen base. That stolen base marked the first that she has snagged this season. Ryla Ripp was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two RBI and one run.
