Recap: El Rancho Dons vs. Environmental Charter White Tigers
The El Rancho Dons had to endure a seven-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They strolled past Environmental Charter with points to spare on Thursday, taking the game 73-57. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
El Rancho can attribute much of their success to Adam Rivas, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and 11 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Andrew Morones, who scored 10 points.
El Rancho's victory bumped their record up to 2-7. As for Environmental Charter, they now have a losing record at 4-5.
El Rancho will be staying on the road on Saturday to face off against Bellflower at 12:00 p.m. on December 9th. Bellflower presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than El Rancho in California (Bellflower is ranked 495th, while El Rancho is ranked 1225th). As for Environmental Charter, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Compton Early College at 7:30 p.m.
