Baseball Recap: Dutch Fork Comes Up Short

Dutch Fork was the 12-7 winner over Lexington when they last played one another on Tuesday, but their luck changed this time around. The Silver Foxes took a 14-11 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wildcats on Thursday.

Ethan Offing stepped up to lead a balanced group of hitters: he went a perfect 4-for-4 with three stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI. Dutch Fork is 7-1 when Offing posts two or more runs, but 1-7 otherwise. Raleigh Salters was another key player, going 2-for-4 with three stolen bases, three runs, and two RBI.
