Ash Grove has gone a perfect 4-0 against Pierce City recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Pirates will host the Eagles at 4:30 p.m. Ash Grove is coming into the match on a three-game losing streak.

Ash Grove came into this matchup off a tough ten-run loss on Friday. This time they kept things ultra-competitive, but unfortunately the final result was the same. They fell just short of Miller by a score of 4-2 on Monday.

Ash Grove saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Alex Acosta, who went 1-for-3 with three stolen bases and two runs.

Pierce City not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since April 2nd (when they won 15-5). They put the hurt on Lockwood with a sharp 10-2 victory.

Pierce City's win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-6. As for Ash Grove, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-7.
