Basketball Recap: Saturday's Win Is Baldwin's 12th in Last 14 Outings

Baldwin extended their postseason success on Saturday against Upson-Lee. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Upson-Lee Knights 60-57. This was payback for the Braves, who suffered a 65-57 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Deven Nelson continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, going 8-for-18 to rack up 28 points and eight boards. He continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Karez Demory, who posted 16 points.

Baldwin is on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 14 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-7 record this season. Upson-Lee's loss dropped their record down to 21-7.

Looking ahead, Baldwin will challenge Cedar Grove on Wednesday. Cedar Grove will roll in looking for their 19th straight victory, something Baldwin surely won't give up without a fight. Upson-Lee does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
