Football Recap: Columbia Academy Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Columbia Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were outmatched by the Grace Christian Academy Lions and fell 35-7. The Bulldogs were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Lions apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in November of 2024.

Jacob Helms threw for 124 yards on nine of 16 attempts. Alex Heffington was his top target, picking up 35 receiving yards. On the ground, Aiden Hunnicutt rushed for 95 yards and one score.

Columbia Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Grace Christian Academy, their win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 5-0.
