Soccer Recap: Hickman Takes a Loss

Hickman lost against Ozark back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Kewpies came up short against the Tigers, falling 4-0. While losing is never fun, Hickman can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Missouri soccer rankings (they are ranked 147th, while Ozark are ranked 16th).

Hickman has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost nine of their last ten matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-13 record this season. As for Ozark, they pushed their record up to 10-2 with the win, which was their third straight at home.

Looking ahead, Hickman will take on Marshall at 6:40 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Ozark, they will look to defend their home pitch on Tuesday against Glendale at 6:45 p.m.
