The Longmont Trojans will square off against the Frederick Golden Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Longmont is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 5.6 goals per game this season.

Last Tuesday, Longmont got the win against Fort Morgan by a conclusive 8-1. It was an even better day for Sophia Krueger as she scored three goals for her team.

Meanwhile, Frederick kept a clean sheet against Skyline on Thursday. They skirted past the Falcons 1-0. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Longmont's win bumped their record up to 13-0. As for Frederick, they now have a winning record of 6-5-3.

Longmont got the 'W' in their previous meeting back in March of 2025 against Frederick by a conclusive 4-0 score. Will the Trojans repeat their success, or do the Golden Eagles have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
