Baseball Recap: McArthur Takes a Loss

McArthur lost against Bonita Springs back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The McArthur Mustangs came up short against the Bonita Springs Bullsharks, falling 13-3. That's two games in a row now that the Mustangs have lost by exactly ten runs.

Caleb Kronen was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he didn't allow a single earned run over 4.2 innings pitched. What's more, he gave up only zero earned runs, the fewest he's had over his last four matchups.

On the hitting side, McArthur saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Winston Rodriguez, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

McArthur is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-12. As for Bonita Springs, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine games. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season.

McArthur has already played their next contest, a 6-1 defeat against Fort Lauderdale on the 13th. As for Bonita Springs, they will take on Coral Springs at 7:00 p.m. on March 19th.
