Basketball Game Preview: Aragon Dons vs. Independence 76ers

The Aragon Dons will take on the Independence 76ers in a holiday battle at at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Aragon will be strutting in after a victory while Independence will be coming in after a defeat.

Aragon will bounce into Thursday's contest after beating Lowell, who they had gone 1-6 against in their seven prior meetings. Aragon managed a 48-44 win over Lowell on Saturday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Dons.

Meanwhile, Independence lost 64-42 to Dougherty Valley on Saturday. The matchup marked the 76ers' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Aragon has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 4-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.3 points per game. As for Independence, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-4.
