Basketball Recap: Saxony Lutheran Comes Up Short

Saxony Lutheran lost against Valle Catholic back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Saxony Lutheran Crusaders received a blow as they fell 58-40 to the Valle Catholic Warriors. That's two games in a row now that the Crusaders have lost by exactly 18 points.

Saxony Lutheran has traveled a rocky road recently having lost seven of their last nine matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-9 record this season. As for Valle Catholic, they now have a winning record of 6-5.

Saxony Lutheran will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Doniphan at 7:30 p.m. on January 31st. As for Valle Catholic, they will face off against Festus at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
