Basketball Recap: Kempsville Comes Up Short

Kempsville lost against Green Run back in February and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Kempsville Chiefs received a blow as they fell 66-52 to the Green Run Stallions.

Kempsville's loss dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Green Run, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-1.

Kempsville will venture away from home to face off against Landstown at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Green Run, they will be home for the holidays to greet Salem at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Green Run knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past three matches -- so hopefully Salem likes a good challenge.
