Volleyball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Dyvet Fonseca and Elsa Andersen Lead Sutton to Victory

Sutton's tournament run continued when they took on Linn on Saturday. The Mustangs sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 win over the Bulldogs.

Leading Sutton to victory were Elsa Andersen and Dyvet Fonseca. Andersen had 13 assists and ten digs, while Fonseca had six digs. Those ten digs gave Andersen a new career-high.

Sutton has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-7 record this season. As for Linn, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 12-4.

Sutton wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-1 victory against Exeter-Milligan/Friend on the 23rd. As for Linn, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-1 win against Centralia on the 23rd.
