After a string of six wins, The Mt. St. Michael Academy Mountaineers''s good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They fell just short of St. Joseph-by-the-Sea by a score of 10-7. Mt. St. Michael Academy has struggled against St. Joseph-by-the-Sea recently, as their matchup on Friday was their third consecutive lost matchup.
Marc Pearson jr. threw for 98 yards on eight of 17 attempts. Nelson Perez was his top target, picking up 57 receiving yards. On the ground, Carl Shaw rushed for 51 yards.
Thomas Digregorio was the offensive standout of the contest as he rushed for 92 yards and a touchdown on only 13 carries.
