The Cornerstone Christian Cougars scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They claimed a resounding 92-54 win over Contra Costa Christian on the road. Cornerstone Christian might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team's won four matchups by 20 points or more this season.
Cornerstone Christian got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Benjamin Lukacs out in front who scored 15 points. The contest was Lukacs' fourth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Jayden Thomasson, who scored 13 points.
Cornerstone Christian's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 6-4. They've been dominating during the matches in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 32.33 points. As for Contra Costa Christian, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-4.
Cornerstone Christian will be home for the holidays to greet Antioch at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. Contra Costa Christian won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against California School for the Deaf at 4:00 p.m. on December 13th.
