Volleyball Recap: Hickory Extends Winning Streak to Three

Hickory had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Saturday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the McMichael Phoenix.

Kira Morin paced Hickory's offense, picking up eight kills. Morin got some help from Ryan Hines and her 13 assists. Eliese Moreau controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Hickory's win bumped their record up to 23-3. As for McMichael, their defeat dropped their record down to 15-9.

Hickory wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Kings Mountain on the 27th. As for McMichael, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Bishop McGuinness on the 29th.
