Wellington came tearing into Thursday's contest with five straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They never let the Greeley Central Wildcats get on the board and left with a 20-0 win. The Eagles' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Wellington got a massive performance out of Kensley Story, who fired off two home runs and three RBI while going 2-for-2. That's the most home runs Story has posted since back in September of 2024.
