Basketball Recap: Graham Local Takes a Loss

Graham Local fought the good fight in their overtime matchup against Indian Lake on Saturday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 64-63 to the Indian Lake Lakers. One positive for the Falcons, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Graham Local lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Zoey Conn, who almost dropped a double-double on 16 points and nine rebounds. Conn's evening made it four games in a row in which she has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Grace Yukon, who went 5 of 10 on her way to 12 points.

Graham Local's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Indian Lake, with the win, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-3.

Graham Local wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 53-39 defeat against Cedarville on the 9th. Indian Lake has also already played their next game, a 47-34 victory against Greenville on the 9th.
