Poway has gone 6-1 against San Pasqual recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. Poway will head out to face off against San Pasqual at 4:00 p.m. Poway is coming into the game on a three-game losing streak.

Poway's tournament run continued when they took on Mt. Carmel on Friday. Poway fell 8-4 to Mt. Carmel.

Trenton Uyeda made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. Victor Encinas also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.

Meanwhile, San Pasqual didn't have quite enough to beat La Costa Canyon on Thursday and fell 6-4. The defeat continues a trend for the Golden Eagles in their meetings with the Mavericks: they've now lost three in a row.

Having lost for the first time this season, San Pasqual fell to 4-1. As for Poway, their loss dropped their record down to 1-3.

Poway came out on top in a nail-biter against San Pasqual in their previous matchup back in March of 2024, sneaking past 1-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for Poway since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
