The Hollidaysburg Golden Tigers will challenge the Selinsgrove Seals at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Hollidaysburg will be looking to keep their five-game home win streak dating back to last season alive.

Last Friday, Hollidaysburg sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 27-25 victory over Jersey Shore.

Hollidaysburg got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Maddox Bainey out in front who threw for 221 yards and a touchdown, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground. Gavin Bell was another key pass catcher, picking up 112 receiving yards and a touchdown.

Hollidaysburg didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Kayden McCrystal and Jay Albarano.

Meanwhile, Selinsgrove beat Shikellamy 14-7 on Friday.

Selinsgrove's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Ethan Miller led the charge by rushing for 110 yards and two touchdowns. That's the most rushing yards Miller has posted since back in December of 2023.

Selinsgrove was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 235 rushing yards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Shikellamy only rushed for 86.

Hollidaysburg's victory bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Selinsgrove, they now have a winning record of 4-3.

Hollidaysburg took a serious blow against Selinsgrove in their previous matchup back in October of 2023, falling 48-7. Thankfully for Hollidaysburg, Tucker Teats (who rushed for 190 yards and three touchdowns on only seven carries, and also caught a touchdown) won't be suiting up this time.
