Basketball Game Preview: Collinsville Kahoks vs. Edwardsville Tigers

Collinsville hasn't had much luck against Edwardsville recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Collinsville Kahoks will venture away from home to face off against the Edwardsville Tigers at 7:30 p.m. Edwardsville took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Collinsville, who comes in off a win.

Last Thursday, in a tight game that could have gone either way, Collinsville made off with a 34-33 victory over East St. Louis. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Kahoks.

Meanwhile, Edwardsville unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Thursday. They fell just short of Belleville East by a score of 49-47. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Tigers have suffered since December 14, 2024.

Edwardsville's loss dropped their record down to 13-9. As for Collinsville, their win bumped their record up to 11-12.

Collinsville took a serious blow against Edwardsville when the teams last played back in January, falling 62-32. Can Collinsville avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
