Basketball Recap: Chardon Takes a Loss

Chardon lost against Mayfield back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Chardon Hilltoppers were outmatched by the Mayfield Wildcats and fell 78-48. The contest marked the Hilltoppers' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Chardon has traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-12 record this season. As for Mayfield, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-11.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Chardon will head out to face off against Riverside at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Mayfield, they will head out on the road to challenge Kenston at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
