Volleyball Game Preview: Mountain Pointe Pride vs. Campo Verde Coyotes + Official Tickets

Mountain Pointe is 1-7 against Campo Verde since October of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The Pride will challenge the Coyotes at 6:00 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.

Mountain Pointe lost 3-0 to Desert Mountain on Tuesday.

Mountain Pointe was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the third set very close. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-17, 25-24.

Meanwhile, Campo Verde came up short against Ironwood Ridge on Tuesday and fell 3-1.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-8, 25-14, 24-26, 25-16.

Campo Verde now has a losing record of 15-16. As for Mountain Pointe, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-23.

Mountain Pointe suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to Campo Verde in their previous meeting back in September. Can the Pride avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
