Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Olathe East). They blew past the Junction City/St. Xavier Bluejays 52-19 on Tuesday. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Hawks as it put an end to their five-game losing streak.

Olathe East's victory bumped their record up to 3-8. As for Junction City/St. Xavier, they dropped their record down to 1-4 with the loss, which was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Olathe East will head out to take on Shawnee Mission North at 5:30 p.m. on February 4th. As for Junction City/St. Xavier, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Hayden on February 7th.
