Baseball Recap: Houston Math Science & Tech Extends Winning Streak to Four

Houston Math Science & Tech won the last time they faced Cesar E. Chavez and things went their way on Thursday too. The Tigers put the hurt on the Lobos with a sharp 16-5 victory. Considering the Tigers have won four matchups by more than six runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Rafael Rivera was a standout: he got on base in all four of his plate appearances with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base. Houston Math Science & Tech is undefeated when Rivera posts two or more runs, but 1-7 otherwise. Moses Sinclair was another key player, getting on base in all three of his plate appearances with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.
