Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Lake Brantley couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They took a 10-7 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hagerty Huskies on Thursday. The Patriots' loss signaled the end of their 12-game winning streak.

Rylin Sprague was cooking despite her team's loss, going 3-for-5 with one home run, four RBI, and one double. Auriana Turner was another key player, going 1-for-4 with one home run and two RBI.

Lake Brantley's defeat dropped their record down to 25-4. As for Hagerty, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 12 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-6 record this season.
