Softball Recap: Harris County Tigers vs. Northside Patriots
Harris County had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. Everything went their way against the Northside Patriots on Friday as the Harris County Tigers made off with a 9-0 victory. The result was nothing new for the Tigers, who have now won 20 matches by six runs or more so far this season.
Linsley Brown and Lanie Guthrey did most of the damage at the plate: Brown went 2-for-2 with a home run and a double, while Guthrey went 1-for-3 with a home run, three RBI, and two runs. The team also got some help courtesy of Ivy McCormick, who went 1-for-3 with a home run.
