Flag Football Game Preview: Oxnard Yellowjackets vs. Dos Pueblos Chargers + Official Tickets

The Oxnard Yellowjackets are taking a road trip to take on the Dos Pueblos Chargers at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Oxnard will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.

Oxnard proved they can win big on Thursday (they won by 35) and on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Ventura, sneaking past 28-25. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Yellowjackets have posted since October 16, 2024.

Oxnard didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Jazzlene Dominguez and Alexa Salazar.

Meanwhile, while Dos Pueblos put up plenty of points on Tuesday, the same can't be said for Buena. The Chargers took their matchup with ease, bagging a 48-0 victory over the Bulldogs. The result was nothing new for the Chargers, who have now won 12 contests by 21 points or more so far this season.

Oxnard's win bumped their record up to 18-6. As for Dos Pueblos, their victory bumped their record up to 20-2.

Oxnard couldn't quite get it done against Dos Pueblos when the teams last played back in September as they fell 21-14. Can the Yellowjackets avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
