Baseball Recap: Twin Falls Extends Winning Streak to Ten

Twin Falls had already won nine in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 5.6 runs) and they went ahead and made it ten on Friday. They were the clear victors by a 6-0 margin over the Minico Spartans. The Bruins might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 12 matches by six runs or more this season.

The result came thanks to Maddox Stadelmeir's shutout, as he gave up just four hits and racked up six Ks. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Twin Falls saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Nolan Lehew, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI. Conner Lee also deserves some recognition as he hit his first triple of the season.

Twin Falls' win was their 11th straight at home, which pushed their record up to 21-6. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.1 runs over those games. As for Minico, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 11-14.

As of now, neither Twin Falls nor the Spartans have any future games scheduled.
