Softball Recap: Coudersport Falcons vs. Port Allegany Gators        
        
		
            
 Coudersport scored the most  runs they've had all season to find success  on Monday. They put the hurt on the Port Allegany Gators with a sharp  26-12 win. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest  victory of the  season.
 For Port Allegany's part,  Alayna McKervey made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and  scored three  runs while  getting on base  in all four of her plate appearances.  Lillanne Reed was another key contributor,  scoring two  runs and  stealing a base while  getting on base  in two of her three plate appearances.
 The  win  made it two in a row for Coudersport and  bumps their season record up to 3-1. As for Port Allegany, they are  on  an  11-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 1-11.
 Both  teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Coudersport will have some time to savor their  victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Elk County Catholic at 3:30  p.m.  on May 14th. As for Port Allegany, they will look to defend their home field  on Tuesday against Galeton at 4:30  p.m.
