Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask South Plantation). Their defense stepped up to hand the Northeast Hurricanes a 5-0 shutout on Thursday. Given the Paladins' advantage in MaxPreps' Florida soccer rankings (they are ranked 71st, while the Hurricanes are ranked 406th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

South Plantation's win ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 2-10. As for Northeast, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-6-2.
