Softball Recap: Ridgewood Finishes Even with Sandy Valley

Neither the Ridgewood Generals nor the Sandy Valley Cardinals could gain the upper hand on Wednesday so the two teams had to settle for a 2-2 draw.

Addison Lahmers spent all 8.2 innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned (and one unearned) run on four hits and racked up 13 Ks.

With that tie, Ridgewood's record moves to 5-4-1. As for Sandy Valley, they moved theirs to 7-2-1.

If the teams were looking for a more definitive result, they're in luck: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
