San Luis Obispo never let their opponents score on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Santa Ynez Pirates with a sharp 16-0 victory. The Tigers haven't had any issues with the Pirates recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive win against them.

The team relied heavily on Audrey Youngs, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs, one triple, and two RBI. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in April of 2024. Another player making a difference was Avila Esty, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

San Luis Obispo always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .719. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
