Trinity Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 16th straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 68-60 to the Gatewood Gators. One positive for the Crusaders, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Gatewood's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Matt Allen led the charge by going 10 of 24 en route to 30 points. Allen is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 18 or more in the last 43 games he's played dating back to last season. The team also got some help courtesy of Kaden Keiser, who went 7 for 13 on his way to 16 points and seven assists.

Trinity Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 0-15. As for Gatewood, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 13-3 record this season.

Trinity Christian will look to defend their home court on Friday against Brentwood at 7:30 p.m. Brentwood will roll in looking for their 16th straight win, something Trinity Christian surely won't give up without a fight. As for Gatewood, they will venture away from home to take on Central Fellowship Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Gatewood's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last six games.
