Dickson County waltzed into their game on Friday with eight straight wins... but they left with nine. They beat the Rossview Hawks by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 8-4. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent victory being a 8-4 win on Friday.

Alex Potter made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He struck out seven batters over seven innings while giving up four earned runs off nine hits (and only one walk). He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in eight consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, going a perfect 4-for-4 with two RBI and one double. That's the most hits he has posted since back in April.

In other batting news, Evan Pevahouse was excellent, going a perfect 4-for-4 with two RBI and one double. Those four hits gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Lane Brown, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI and one run.

Dickson County's win bumped their record up to 29-15. As for Rossview, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 13-16.
