Basketball Recap: Sussex Academy Comes Up Short

If Sussex Academy was riding high fresh off their 64-34 takedown of Red Lion Christian Academy last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Sussex Academy Seahawks were beaten by the Delmar Wildcats 65-35 on Friday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 55-50 last Tuesday.

Sussex Academy's loss dropped their record down to 2-17. As for Delmar, their win bumped their record up to 7-12.

Sussex Academy has already played their next matchup (against Indian River), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Delmar, they will challenge Seaford at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
