It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Braden River had no problem doing just that on Thursday. They enjoyed a cozy 48-29 victory over the East Bay Indians. The win was familiar territory for the Pirates, who have now won ten matchups in a row.

Braden River's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Anthony Bailey, who posted 12 points. What's more, Bailey posted two blocks, the most he's had since back in December of 2025. Jalen Byrd was another key player, putting up seven points and six boards.

Braden River smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 12 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in 15 consecutive games.

Braden River's record now sits at 22-5. As for East Bay, they dropped their record down to 14-13 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Braden River wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 63-57 defeat against Jesuit on the 7th. East Bay does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
