Soccer Game Preview: Trion vs. Lake Oconee Academy

The Trion Bulldogs will take on the Lake Oconee Academy Titans on Friday. Both teams are coming into the game red-hot, with Trion sitting on seven straight wins and Lake Oconee Academy on ten.

Trion is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Tuesday. They came out on top against Georgia Military College by a score of 4-2.

Meanwhile, Lake Oconee Academy made easy work of Dooly County on Tuesday and carried off an 8-1 victory. Considering Lake Oconee Academy have won 13 matchups by more than two goals this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Their offense was hitting Dooly County from everywhere, as six different players booted in a goal. Leonardo Inostrosa led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by himself.

Trion's win was their ninth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-4. Those home victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 45 goals over those nine contests. As for Lake Oconee Academy, their win bumped their record up to 15-3.
