Basketball Recap: Western Comes Up Short

Western was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Jeffersontown Chargers, falling 79-58. The Warriors were not able to make up for their loss to the Chargers from their previous meeting back in January of 2023.

Western's defeat dropped their record down to 6-13. As for Jeffersontown, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 17-5 record this season.

While Western had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
