Softball Recap: Powers Snaps Six-Game Streak of Wins on the Road

After some red-hot attacks at the plate in their last six matchups, Powers finally came back down to earth on Saturday. They lost 10-0 to North Douglas. The game marked the first time this year in which the Cruisers were not able to get on the board.

Powers' loss ended a six-game streak of away wins and brought them to 12-3. As for North Douglas, they pushed their record up to 19-2 with the victory, which was their 19th straight at home dating back to last season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Powers will face off against Reedsport at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for North Douglas, they will take on Elkton at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
