Basketball Recap: Sharpstown Takes a Loss

Sharpstown was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They were dealt a 63-16 loss at the hands of the Benjamin Davis Falcons. The game marked the Apollos' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Sharpstown's defeat dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Benjamin Davis, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 7-13.

Sharpstown will challenge Sterling at 6:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025. Sharpstown is facing Sterling at the right time seeing as Sterling is stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Benjamin Davis, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Aldine at 12:00 p.m.
