Baseball Recap: Page Comes Up Short

Page was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They lost 18-8 to the Southeast Guilford Falcons. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Falcons this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 6-1 on Tuesday.

Christian Johnson was cooking despite his team's loss, going a perfect 1-for-1 with three RBI, one triple, and one run. That triple was his first of the season.

Page's loss dropped their record down to 6-16. As for Southeast Guilford, their victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-12.

Coming up, Page will head out on the road to square off against Salisbury at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Southeast Guilford does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
