Basketball Recap: Spokane Starts Season with Win on the Road

Spokane had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They claimed a resounding 63-31 win over the Exeter Tigers. That's more bragging rights for the Owls, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Exeter is on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Looking ahead, Spokane won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Hollister at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Exeter, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Bronaugh at 7:00 p.m. on December 9.
