Softball Recap: Bethlehem Takes a Loss

Bethlehem's last matchup with Nelson County could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's matchup on Friday. The Eagles came up short against the Cardinals, falling 13-1. The Eagles have struggled against the Cardinals recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Bethlehem's defeat dropped their record down to 17-12. As for Nelson County, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 20-7.

Looking ahead, Bethlehem will be playing in front of their home fans against Green County at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Nelson County, they will square off against Mercy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Cardinals 3.4, the Jaguars 2.1) so any runs scored will be well earned.
