Basketball Recap: Upper Bucks Christian Takes a Loss

Upper Bucks Christian played a tough contest on Thursday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They came up short against the Jenkintown Drakes, falling 62-36. Upper Bucks Christian was down 51-25 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

Jenkintown's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Angel Rivera, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 11 boards. The dominant performance gave Rivera a new career-high in rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Judah Jackson, who posted 12 points.

Upper Bucks Christian's loss dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Jenkintown, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-15.

Upper Bucks Christian has already played their next game (against Valley Forge Baptist Academy), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Jenkintown wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 72-58 defeat against Collegium Charter on the 31st.
