Baseball Recap: Arcadia Takes a Loss

Arcadia lost to La Canada back in March of 2017 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Apaches came up short against the Spartans, falling 9-2.

Matt Manzo made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with one triple and one run. Another player making a difference was Julian Salmon, who got on base in two of his three plate appearances with two stolen bases.

Arcadia now has a losing record of 1-2. As for La Canada, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Looking ahead, Arcadia will head out to face off against Ayala at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for La Canada, they will be playing at home against Northview at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Vikings' pitching crew has only allowed 3.2 runs per game this season, so the Spartans' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
