Round Lake hadn't done well against North Chicago recently (they were 0-4 in their previous four matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Panthers walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Warhawks. The win was nothing new for the Panthers as they're now sitting on three straight.

Round Lake not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept North Chicago between 16 and 17 points across their sets. The final score came out to 25-16, 25-17.

Round Lake's victory was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-11 and their overall record up to 3-28. As for North Chicago, their loss was their 15th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-25.

The two teams are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. Round Lake will face off against Lake Zurich at 11:00 a.m. on Monday. As for North Chicago, they are taking a road trip to challenge Zion-Benton at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
