Baseball Recap: Clarendon Comes Up Short

Clarendon and West Texas squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Clarendon had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Comanches by a score of 5-4. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Comanches this season, with their most recent defeat being a 18-2 loss on Saturday.

Clarendon's defeat dropped their record down to 12-11. As for West Texas, the victory got them back to even at 10-10.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Comanches beat Clarendon by a score of 18-2 later that day.
