Soccer Game Preview: Gunn vs. MacDonald

The Gunn Titans will square off against the MacDonald Condor at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses for Gunn and nine for MacDonald.

Things were looking good for Gunn after they put the first points on the board on Thursday, but unfortunately for them things went downhill from there. They fell just short of Lynbrook by a score of 2-1. That's two games in a row now that the Titans have lost by just one goal.

Meanwhile, MacDonald's game on Thursday was all tied up 1-1 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They lost 7-1 to Saratoga. While losing is never fun, the Condor can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 1020th, while the Falcons are ranked 493rd).

Gunn's loss dropped their record down to 6-6-5. As for MacDonald, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-11-1.

Everything went Gunn's way against MacDonald in their previous meeting back in January, as Gunn made off with a 4-0 win. Does Gunn have another victory up their sleeve, or will MacDonald turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
